More recent stuff

Love this picture-so cute!!

Aww such a sweetie!

Auntie Wendy gave us some baby banz sunglasses that Devyn grew out of to see if they fit Kiley (since she loves her shades) and now Sydney has taken to wearing them all the time and they look hilarious!!

Our little "funny face" as my Grandpa would say. Kiley has taken to making the cutest facial expressions lately and she watches our reactions intently. It is so fun to see her try out new faces to see if we laugh or copy her back!

Jumpin' Jumpin'
Sydney is such a good jumper and loves to just run around and jump all over the place.

Dad was not happy when he saw this one-oops ;) I was trying to get a good picture to send to him at work, as he had just bought the girls the cute shirts they were wearing, and I thought she'd smile for sure standing (SAFELY) on the counter....but she didn't really know what to think!

My little rap star! It's almost like she knew I was trying to get a picture of the shirt??

Don't they just look so grown up here?

Poser

Trying on Mom's high heels (somebody night as well wear them lately :) She did so well in them though....such a little lady! I'm pretty sure she just liked the idea of a fancier shoe rather then her usual pink converse sneaks.

Relaxin with Dad after missing him VERY much last week :(

They both love their shades but Kiley especially!

Sydney LOVES this hat...she wears it almost everyday, even when it's over 20 degrees out (as Nana and Grandpa discovered when they took them to the park last weekend) It is not a bad thing though as she is usually sportin some crazy hairdo without it!

Kiley decided to fill her hat with dirt and then proceed to put it on her head. Let me just say that fine dirt did not come off very easily! Maybe she was trying to get that fake spray on hair look ;)

We had a crazy few months around here and have made the very difficult decision to move to Kelowna for Dave's work. He was just gone so much with no end in sight and it made the most sense for us to pursue this new opportunity which means no more travelling. It was so hard for Dave and us girls every time he left that we knew if we could change that than it was the right answer for us. So we took the job, listed our home and after a crazy week of nonstop showings and trying to make it look like 2 one year olds DIDN'T live here, our house in Kamloops sold and we have to be out by May 23rd. That would all be great if we had found a home in Kelowna yet but we are thankful the stress of showing the house is over with! We do have a great rental condo in the meantime though as Dave started in Kelowna last Tuesday. We really miss him around here but know that it is short term and then no more nights away!!!! YAY!!!! Unless he takes me that is :)

Kiley watching their favorite show on the "TB"

Enjoying a quick visit from Devyn and Auntie

Our niece Devyn who is one month older then the girls. So sweet!

The girls enjoyed their first time at the beach. We will be spending lots of time there this summer I hope!

Kiley was so mad that she wasn't allowed to run straight into the water!

Sydney exploring. They had such a good time there and this beach is right by our rental condo so it will be handy!

So cool

Playing at another park in Kelowna between house hunting.

Kiley loves to climb to the highest peak and go through all the tunnels but Sydney is a bit more cautious and will not go in any tunnel or go down a covered slide. It is so neat to see the differences coming out more and more in their personalities!

Sydney enjoys stopping to smell the flowers.

Kiley decided not to go on the slide anymore after flying down headfirst and landing on her chin! I caught her by her feet at the last second but she still got a few scrapes....

Sydney loves to keep her gorgeous, delicate, little fingers busy.

Sliding down the fireman's pole (notice how high the top of the slide is in the background?). Kiley would climb all the way up on her own and the try to slide down before we could catch her....hence the chin scraping!

More random pictures from the last month....or so :)

Auntie Michelle and Megan gave the girls some of Meg's old dress up clothes and we barely made in the door from a fun playdate at their house and they had to try everything on!
.

So much fun
.

Lookin gorgeous!

Feeding the goats with Nana

Nana suggested we take the girls to see the goats and chickens out in Westside a few weeks ago and it was really fun! The girls loved feeding the goats and watching the chickens and ducks running around and the swans bathing in the mud. We can't wait to get back there.

Look Mom-goats!
.
Not too sure what to make of this yet!

Didn't take them long to figure this out! Those goats ate well that day....

Playin in the backyard for the first time!

Come on Mom get out here!!

We were dying to get out there all winter and the time finally came where we could explore the backyard! The girls thoroughly enjoyed getting dirty and we have been out there everyday since.
