Kiley and Sydney's 2nd Birthday!

The girls had a fabulous 2nd Birthday party with both of our families here to help celebrate. We had postponed their party by a month so we could get settled in our new place therefore they were actually 25 months old that week! The weather was so hot outside but I think that everyone had a great time....

(I am having trouble with the blog lately and can't rearrange pictures, so here they are....in no particular order)

YUMMY!

Sitting so nicely

Jayden and Branden eating at the little girls table heehee

Nana and Grandpa got the girls a singing card that they LOVED! Kiley is doing the actions here for the itsy bitsy spider.

They were, and still are, so excited about their new Dora beds from Nana and Grandpa. They use them everyday!

Playing the card-again.

Snuggled in

Pretty cool beds. Ready for more sleepovers now :)

Sydney inspecting her card. Before the song plays Nana's voice is recorded saying Happy Birthday so they were fascinated.

Playing ball

Uncle Steve is the piggy in the middle this time!

Sebastion cooling down in the pool....a little too cold I think!

Emilia and Sebastion swimming with Grandpa Gerry, Uncle Dale and Mom supervising.

Yay Kiley!

Devyn loving the girls new playhouse from Auntie Michelle, Uncle Steve, Branden and Megan.

They played so nicely in it together. Then someone realized that they had smuggled a huge bowl of BBQ potato chips inside and had eaten the whole bowl right down to licking the bottom. I guess that's why they say to check on kids when they are being really quiet :)

Sydney has made that seat her own and loves to sit on her porch, which does seem to fit her personality of hanging back a bit and taking it all in.

Kiley checking it out.

They love to open and close the door and yell at anyone in their way!
.
A BIG Thank you to our families for travelling here and spoiling the girls rotten as usual!!!!

A fun day with the Sawyer's

We had a great day with the Sawyer's a few weeks ago and headed to their "cottage" on the lake and then to Beaver Lake to check out the petting zoo and playground.

Another day at the beach

We spent a few days at Bertram Beach this June. It is a beautiful spot and shallow for quite a ways out. It is a long drive from town so it was always pretty quiet and I felt comfortable taking the girls there on my own. It was always more fun with Dad though!

Another gorgeous day weather wise

Always looking for the biggest rock possible

or stick...
.

They were thrilled to find these big rocks already in the water

These ground hogs were pretty brave and, much to the girls delight, there were always lots of them around!

Figuring out the teeter totter

Big pushes from Daddy

Sydney loves the swings...for a few minutes anyways!

Visiting Uncle Steve at the Wildlife Park in Kamloops

We had such a great time at the Wildlife Park with Steve as our personal tour guide and picture taker! The girls just wanted to get out and run around but I wanted to hear all the behind the scenes stuff. It seems like such an interesting job, I could listen to stories all day. The girls are not interested in all that though so we had to cut it short. Oh well there is always next year :)
.
Uncle Steve rounded up the peacocks so we could get a good look...

I don't think the peacocks are too fond of Uncle Steve!
.
Look Mom a goat!

Brushing the goats

They loved brushing the goats but mosty loved the mud puddle in the goat pen. Mom and both girls got covered when they decided to stomp in it. Good thing for the water park!

I had to take the brush from Sydney as she was brushing her own hair with it mmm...gross!

Riding the train was their favorite part of the day!

Holidays at Nana and Grandpa's house in Kamloops

Feeling so big on the slide

A little static to add to Syd's already crazy hair!

Rocka Rocka Rocka

So stylin
