Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! My sister and family came up for 4 days so it was our first year of no travel-Yay!! We had a great, and very busy, few days with 3 one year olds running around, playing hard and keeping us all on our toes. We sent all the boys, Dave, Uncle Dale and cousins Jayden, Jarett and Rodney up to the cabin for a day and a half of snowmobiling, hot tubbing and other boy stuff. Besides Jayden getting a patch of frostnip on his face :( they all had a blast. Too bad it was soooo cold up there or we all could have gone! Wendy and I did get some last minute shopping done though and then we had a quiet night with the girls at home. We also managed to go see Uncle Steve's amazing fireworks and light show at the Wildlife Park one night in the FREEZING cold and thoroughly loved it. Even in the cold it was well worth it!!

Devyn taking a turn on the Dora truck and "borrowing" Sydney's new toothbrush! They all were really good at sharing. Devyn didn't get her water bottle back for days, until we went and bought the girls each their own, as Sydney and Kiley would fight over it! Now that they each have one they could care less about it of course!

Kiley, being the boss of our house that she is, had to have the booster seat everyday. Devyn didn't mind one bit-thank goodness!

Christmas Eve

We managed to get over to Nana and Grandpas on Christmas Eve for a couple hours and boy was that a whirlwind!! We all were spoiled, not just the girls, and were happy to see that Uncle Steve made it over from work for a bit too! Wouldn't be Christmas without spending Christmas Eve with Dave's family. We haven't missed one yet....

Sydney LOVES her beads that Megan made as well as the fancy beads Auntie Michelle and Uncle Steve bought for them along with tutus and a fuzzy boa! She hasn't let a day go by without wearing the beads. As soon as she gets up she says Bee-eads and points to her neck then to where the beads are hanging. She looks so cute in them and feels sooo pretty!

Kiley loved their new Dora truck and couldn't wait to get it out of the box! She ended up sitting on it before we could take it out!

Pre-Christmas Craziness!!

The girls were all dressed up and ready to see Santa but too bad Santa was on a long break and by the time Santa was back they had run out of patience and just wanted to run wild through the mall, but who doesn't :) We did manage to get some pictures though. They didn't turn out great but it is good to have the memory. They ended up standing in front of Santa since Kiley would not let Santa touch her and she is the boss!

The girls weren't sure what to think of all the Christmas and Santa talk but since we sounded excited I am sure they were too!

The girls really enjoyed helping Daddy put up the tree this year and we got off easy only having to decorate the tree from the middle up!

The girls love to give smooches now and especially to each other. They make the mmm sound from across the room and head to each other puckering up. It is the cutest thing but Kiley gets Sydney every time by turning her head at the last second! Can't say I blame her though cause Sydney gives WET kisses!!
