Playtime

Such a great picture of Kiley in the jumperoo

Sydney looks so pretty in blue. She was making sure I wasn't just going to take a picture of her sister!

Sydney can now grab the taps and turn them on so Dad has to be extra careful at bathtime. She is so proud of herself and you can tell by the picture that she is holding on to it and not letting go for nothin!

The girls are adjusting to their new surroundings and we are enjoying lots of playtime. They are finally getting over their bad colds but Kiley is still a bit out of sorts. Thank goodness they are sleeping better though since Dave and I look and feel 100 years old these last few weeks from lack of sleep. Dave is on the road a lot too so being exhausted is dangerous and I need sleep so I can have patience for our busy days!

Ready for the cold weather. Kiley finally gets to wear her snowsuit for the first time (hence the tags) Poor girl couldn't move a muscle.

Snug as bugs :) We tried to undo Kiley's so it wouldn't be so tight on her neck but it just went in her face instead-oops. Sydney's suit is at least a little bit more flexible.

Our 6 month check-up

Thanks to some good work by Nan we now have a doctor in kamloops...shhhh don't tell anyone! So the girls had a check up today and they are doing fabulous, besides having a bad cold and cough. Mom managed to drag them in on her own and they were very patient and good for the doctor (thank goodness). Sydney is still up there in percentiles for height and weight and weighs in at a healthy 18lbs 6ozs. Kiley is catching up though and is no longer in the 25th percentile but up in the 50th at 15lbs 15ozs. So we are thrilled with their continued health and growth! Now if this darn cold would end we would be even happier.

On another note Kiera went to the dog spa today and our house is back to smelling like roses so it has been a good day all around :)

Finally getting settled

Toys have really taken over our house now!

We are in our new house and things are finally starting to come together. It is a very different house then we had in Langley but feels much more cozy to us and it feels like home already. We can live on the main floor and grow into the extra rooms downstairs when we need to. It is also nice for guests to have a room and bathroom downstairs on their own-so come visit everyone :) We are so excited to have my sister and my nephew, Jayden, coming to stay this weekend and can't wait until the whole family comes. Dale, Wendy and Devyn have been up to visit and now Jayden so we just need Jarett!!

They LOVE their new super exersaucer and spend lots of time jumping and eating the toys or in Sydney's case drenching everything including herself
.
.
Kiley is now liking the Jumperoo too. She doesn't go crazy in it like her sister but takes in everything going on around her

The girls are both pretty sick right now and Dave is back at work and is working crazy hours to get his new job off and running so time is non existent for us right now. I am enjoying the bursts of happy energy the girls still manage to muster up throughout the day though! Other than being sick, the girls seem to be settling in well and love having Nan, Grandpa, Opa, Uncle Steve, Auntie Michelle, Branden and Megan close by. We already had everyone for dinner and it was a busy but very wonderful evening and no one seemed to mind the chaos and general disarray! We are looking forward to doing it again. Nan and Grandpa have helped us so much with the girls and around the house that we would be nowhere near moved in without them so thank you guys-we truly appreciate it all!

Sydney freshly scrubbed after wearing her rice cereal from top to bottom

Kiley also freshly scrubbed and putting on a fake smile since she was just very angry at me for doing the scrubbing!

Sydney had discovered how to take the toys off herself-which is waaayy more interesting than eating of course

And lastly our little Kiley peanut after her bath
