New Photos Oct 21

We took a few cute pictures of the girls today. We can't believe how much they are changing and how fast. They are so alert all the time and laugh and coo a lot which is so sweet to hear! We are really enjoying every minute.

Oct Holidays in the Okanagan

We are enjoying our last week of holidays for the year this week, since Dave starts his new job on Monday, they wanted us to use them up. It seems like we were just on holidays but it is never a bad thing! We really enjoyed ourselves as we spent a few days in Kamloops and a few days in Vernon and had a chance to see our families which we can't do enough of! We had a very short trip though (as usual lately) but managed to fit in a little visiting and lots of walks outside with the girls. The weather was perfect while we were there and the scenery is beautiful this time of year. The picture above is of our walk with Julie, Alex and Nic at Coldstream Creek Park, which is right by our old home in Vernon. The picture below is of Julie and the boys.

Too Cute!

This is another picture of the girls from the other day. I wanted to add it cause I think it is super cute! The girls are both loving their "Nuk Nuk" (blanket with a bunny head on it) lately. Kiley loves to cuddle with hers while Sydney only wants hers in her mouth, like everything else lately. I love how Sydney is always wide eyed and looking like she is taking everything so seriously while Kiley is always on the verge of what looks like a smirk to me! Kiley looks like she has a brush cut in this picture but at least you can see that she has some hair now!

Holding hands

The girls have been really starting to interact lately. Today Kiley had her hand by Sydney's face and Sydney kept grabbing it and holding on and then she proceeded to suck on it. Kiley was very accommodating and kept it there for her to enjoy! It is so cute to watch them discover each other!

Happy Thanksgiving

It was such a beautiful day Monday that we took the girls for a walk in their fancy "Bob" stroller along the river at Derby Reach in Fort Langley. Sydney started to fuss halfway through our walk so we put her in the Baby Bjorn and she was much happier. She was talking to everyone as they walked by! We were laughing and took a picture of her when we we first put her in as she looked like she was in a straitjacket but then we realized we had her arms in wrong-Oops-poor girl! It was the first time we had put her in facing forward so we figured it out after a few minutes (and we fixed her pants :)

The girls have now gotten too big to share a crib so Kiley moved into her own last night. She slept soundly until about 2:30 (from 8:30) so she seems to like it okay. I am sure she is happy not to wake up jammed into her sister since she is the one who squirms around the most at night. I think she will be the busier one like her Dad was!

We pulled out the "Jumperoo" for the girls cousin Devyn's visit and even though she couldn't make it (boohoo) we decided to put it together and see if Sydney liked it. While she loves the flashing lights and the music she isn't quite sure what to think of the movement. She was wide eyed the whole time and was quite funny to watch her and wonder what she was thinking!

Jayden's Hockey Tourney Oct 5,6 & 7th.

Dale and Jayden came to Abbotsford for a hockey tournament on the long weekend so it was great to be able to watch his games and have a quick visit. Unfortunately Devyn was sick so Wendy and her couldn't come and Jarett had his own hockey tourney in Merritt. We really, really missed seeing them!!

Dave made a little video of the great goalie in action.....Enjoy!
